Mexx

Mexx is a fashion brand founded in the Netherlands in 1986 by Rattan Chadha. The brand emerged from the merger of two of Chadha's existing lines: Moustache, a men's collection, and Emmanuelle, a women's collection. The name Mexx cleverly combines the first letters of both original brands with two kisses: M from Moustache, E from Emmanuelle, and XX. This playful naming concept extended to the brand's memorable 1986 advertising campaign, "Everything should be XX," which helped establish Mexx's presence in the fashion market. Now part of HVEG Fashion Group, Mexx carries forward the vision of its founder while maintaining the distinct identity created through the combination of those two original fashion lines.
